Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to rent a jet ski in Ontario?

You’ll need a valid G-class driver’s licence (or international equivalent) and to be at least 20 years old. We issue a temporary boating safety card when you arrive, so you’re fully legal to ride.

How much does it cost to rent a jet ski?

Hourly rentals at the Bluffs are $100/hour with a $500 refundable deposit. Multi-day cottage rentals start at $499/day with a $500 refundable deposit collected at delivery.

What is your booking and refund policy?

A $50 reservation fee is due at booking to hold your jet ski. Cancel 48 or more hours before your rental for a full refund or credit. If the weather makes riding unsafe, we’ll reschedule you at no charge.

Is fuel included?

Yes. We never charge extra for gas — your rental price covers fuel, life jackets, and your safety briefing.

Where do I meet you at Scarborough Bluffs?

Look for our blue Velocity Wave banner near the boat launch at Bluffer’s Park. If you can’t spot the crew, call us at 647-822-0990 and we’ll guide you in.

What happens if I damage the jet ski?

Extra charges only apply if the ski is damaged or flipped. Ride within the guidelines we cover in your briefing and you’ll have nothing to worry about.

Can we bring children?

Children aged 4 and older are welcome as passengers — please bring a properly-fitted lifejacket for each child, as children’s sizes aren’t provided. Max 3 per ski (2 adults + 1 child, or 1 adult + 2 children), with a 400 lb total weight limit. Passengers are weather-permitting; on rougher days we may restrict to solo riders and will let you know at check-in.

Do you offer a group discount?

Yes — book three or more jet skis on the same day and we’ll take 10% off each rental.
